I’m a learning and development professional with experience in tech, government, and higher education. I believe in bringing out the best in people and getting them the tools they need to do their best work. This can mean a live training, a video, an elearning, or even launching and managing a whole new learning program. Every organization is different and I believe in developing resources that fit those different needs.
Live and Virtual Training
I have led both in-person and virtual trainings for local and global audiences. My goal when leading any of these sessions is for people to never have the “this could have been an email” feeling.
Project Management
Working across different departments and different time zones means needing a solid plan that everyone is aligned on. I work with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met, while making the sure the project stays on track.
eLearning
When you think about eLearnings, you may think about a required course you had to take to fulfill an HR requirement. Some of them are extraordinary while some are just pretty ordinary. I build eLearnings when it’s the best route possible and I build them to make sure a learner isn’t just clicking ‘Next’.
Content Development
Whether it’s a newsletter with updates on budget planning to documentation on how a customized Salesforce application works, I can write it. I think about how the user faces the content, what questions they might have before and after (and during!) use, and what could happen if they push that button instead of that one.
