It’s rare that I get a chance to share what I’ve worked on, but in 2019 I was part of a team that developed a series of trainings on grants management for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). These courses were designed for grants managers/applicants across States and partners and required coordination between different State offices, the OMB, and Federal departments. Much of the training didn’t exist previously; an applicant had to page through several different manuals and guidelines to get the information presented in these courses. You can even hear my voice doing some narration in the courses as well as see my work in Storyline. See the courses in action.

The Grants Management project required working with FMCSA officials spread across the United States to incorporate the breadth and depth of knowledge needed for this curriculum.
We incorporated knowledge checks to help keep the learner on track with learning objectives and emphasize certain pieces of instruction.
